About the service
What is a chiptuning file service?
A chiptuning file service is a professional ECU file modification service. The mechanic uploads the original ECU file from the vehicle, selects the desired service (e.g., Stage 1, DPF off, EGR off), and we manually calibrate the file and return it ready to flash. The entire process is online — no need to bring the vehicle.
How long does order processing take?
We deliver the tuned file within 15 to 60 minutes from order acceptance.
Which vehicles do you support?
Our catalog covers over 55 makes and 12,000+ engine variants — passenger cars, vans, trucks, and agricultural machinery. You can browse the complete database on the Tuning Database page without registration.
What is Stage 1 tuning?
Stage 1 is an ECU remap optimized for a completely stock engine with no hardware modifications. Typical gains are 20-35% in power and torque, depending on the engine. Stage 2 requires a modified intake or exhaust system and delivers higher gains.
What is DPF off / EGR off / AdBlue off?
These are software modifications that deactivate specific emission systems in the ECU. DPF off removes the diesel particulate filter, EGR off removes exhaust gas recirculation, and AdBlue off deactivates the SCR system. The user is responsible for compliance with local regulations.
Credits and payment
How does the credit system work?
1 credit = 1 EUR. Buy credits upfront and use them when you need them. No subscription, no monthly fees. Credits are deducted when you create an order and refunded automatically if we reject it.
What payment methods are available?
Payment is processed through Stripe, which supports all major cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and local payment methods available in your country.
Can I get a credit refund?
Yes, in three cases: (1) if we reject the order — credits are returned automatically; (2) if the delivered file doesn't match the specification — report within 7 days; (3) if we exceed the agreed delivery timeline. Credits are not refunded for correctly delivered orders.
Are you VAT registered?
No. AT Tuning is a simplified sole proprietorship (paušalni obrt) and is not VAT registered. VAT is not charged pursuant to Art. 90 of the Croatian VAT Act. Prices are expressed in credits (1 credit = 1 EUR) with no additional VAT.
Security and files
Are my ECU files secure?
Yes. All files are stored encrypted in a private storage bucket. Access is only possible via time-limited signed URLs. Files are automatically deleted 90 days after order completion.
Who works on my files?
All modifications are performed manually by qualified personnel. We don't use automated mapping tools — every remap is tailored to the specific engine and order requirements.
Can I track my order status?
Yes. Every order has real-time status tracking on your dashboard. You receive an email notification when the file is ready for download. You can also communicate with us directly through the integrated messaging system.
How long do you keep my files?
ECU files are automatically deleted 90 days after order completion. Financial records are retained for 11 years as required by Croatian tax law. You can request account deletion and removal of all data at any time.
Registration and access
Is registration free?
Yes. Creating an account is completely free. You only pay when you purchase credits for orders. No subscription, no hidden fees.
Do I need to enter a business name?
No. The business name field is completely optional. You can use the platform with just an email address.
In which languages is the platform available?
The platform is available in Croatian and English. You can switch languages at any time using the toggle in the navigation.
