Terms of Service

1. General provisions
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of the website at-tuning.com and associated platform ("Platform") operated by AT Tuning, obrt za usluge, Cesta dr. Franje Tuđmana 929, 21217 Kaštel Štafilić, OIB: 72412380695 ("Service Provider"). By registering an account on the Platform, you accept these Terms in their entirety. The Platform is intended for business users — auto mechanics and workshops (B2B service).
2. Service description
AT Tuning provides an ECU file processing service (chiptuning file service). The user uploads the original ECU file via the Platform, selects the desired service (e.g., Stage 1, DPF off, EGR off), pays with credits, and the Service Provider delivers the modified file. All modifications are performed manually by qualified personnel.
3. Registration and user account
A user account with a valid email address is required to use the service. The user is responsible for safeguarding their access credentials and all activities on their account. Providing false information during registration is grounds for account closure.
4. Credits and payment
Services are paid for using a credit system. 1 credit = 1 EUR. Credits are purchased in advance via Stripe payment processor. Service prices are expressed in credits and visible on the pricing page. The Service Provider is not registered for VAT — VAT is not charged pursuant to Art. 90 of the Croatian VAT Act. The Service Provider reserves the right to change prices, with new prices applying only to orders placed after the change.
5. Order process
An order is created by uploading the original ECU file and selecting the vehicle and services. Credits are deducted at the time of order creation. The service contract is considered concluded when the Service Provider accepts the order. The user can track order status in real time via the Platform.
6. Delivery timeline
The Service Provider aims to deliver the modified file within the timeframe stated upon order acceptance, and no later than 60 minutes from acceptance. The delivery timeline begins from the moment the Service Provider accepts the order, not from the moment of upload.
7. File handling and security
All uploaded ECU files are stored encrypted in a private storage bucket. File access is restricted via time-limited signed URLs. Files are automatically deleted 90 days after order completion. The Service Provider applies technical and organizational security measures in accordance with GDPR.
8. Limitation of liability
The Service Provider provides an ECU file modification service according to the specifications selected by the user. The user is solely responsible for the use of the modified file, including installation on the vehicle, compliance with local regulations, and all consequences of use. The Service Provider is not liable for damage caused by improper installation, use of the file on the wrong vehicle, regulatory violations by the user, or for indirect, consequential, or incidental damage. The total liability of the Service Provider is limited to the amount of credits spent on the order in question.
9. Intellectual property
All content on the Platform (texts, graphics, software, database) is the property of the Service Provider and is protected by intellectual property laws. Modified ECU files delivered to the user may only be used for the vehicle specified in the order. Resale, distribution, or sharing of modified files with third parties is prohibited.
10. Refund policy
Credit refunds are available in the following cases: (a) The Service Provider rejects the order — credits are returned automatically and immediately; (b) The delivered file does not match the ordered specification — the user reports the issue through the Platform messaging system within 7 days of delivery; (c) Delivery delay beyond the stated timeline. Credits are not refunded for correctly delivered orders or for unused credits on the account.
11. Account termination
The user may request account closure by contacting support@at-tuning.com. The Service Provider reserves the right to close or suspend a user account in case of violation of these Terms, platform abuse, or providing false information. Unused credits at the time of account closure due to Terms violation are not subject to refund.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia. For all disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms, the competent court in Split, Croatia shall have jurisdiction.
13. Changes to terms
The Service Provider reserves the right to amend these Terms. Users will be notified of all changes via email at least 15 days before the new Terms take effect. Continued use of the Platform after the amended Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the changes.
